The Municipal Development Fund (MDF) of the Ministry of Infrastructure is to begin the design of a school for 250 students in Chiauri Village of Lagodekhi Municipality.

A respective contract has been signed with the competition winning company, and the design is scheduled to be completed within 6 months. A model design will be developed, and that design will be applied in various regions.

As per design, the school will include classrooms, sports infrastructure, a room for teachers, a medical office, and a cafeteria. The building of modern standards will house a visual and applied arts room, a music room, an information and communication technology room, a science lab, and a library. In addition, the Chiauri School will feature a multifunctional hall, locker rooms, a gym, and a playground, whereas an outdoor sports field with artificial turf will be arranged in the schoolyard.

The building will be fully adapted for students with special educational needs. The new school in Lagodekhi Municipality will be equipped with modern roofing, security, and ventilation systems.

Based on that design, the infrastructure of school is intended to be energy-efficient and cost-effective that will significantly reduce maintenance costs.
