Andro Chichinadze, Onise Tskhadadze, 9 other people were also found guilty by the Court of Appeal and the 1st instance verdict [2 years in prison] was left unchanged. The decision was announced a few minutes ago.

By the verdict of the appeal judge, 11 defendants were acquitted of participating in group violence, however, like the verdict of the first instance judge, they were found guilty of group action. Accordingly, the appeal judge did not satisfy the appeal of either the prosecution or the defense.

Prosecutor’s Office requested that the convicted persons be found guilty of participating in group violence, while the defense requested an acquittal.
