According to the Speaker of the Parliament of Georgia during his visit to Istanbul, he will have meetings with the chairmen of the parliaments of the region.

As Shalva Papuashvili added, he will hold meetings with the chairmen of the parliaments of Armenia and Azerbaijan, with whom he will discuss the importance of the region.

"Of course, there will be meetings with the chairmen of the parliaments of the region. Today I will meet with the chairmen of the parliaments of Armenia and Azerbaijan and we will talk about the importance of the region in the light of the international security challenges that we see in the wider region.

The fact that the peace agreement between Azerbaijan and Armenia has been initiated, bilateral relations are moving forward, gives us hope that our region, which is a bridge between the East and the West, will stably fulfill its function in the future", - said Shalva Papuashvili.
