The First Deputy Chairman of Parliament`s Committee on Sectoral Economy and Economic Policy, alleged visible attempts of external interference in Hungary`s parliamentary elections, drawing parallels with recent developments in Georgia.
"Attempts of external interference are clearly visible here, especially from Brussels… Of course, this is noteworthy. I wish Hungary peace and stability. We will observe the ongoing election processes.
It is very important to note that Hungary, especially recently, has always supported Georgia - even when there were attempts to punish our country absolutely undeservedly. At those times, Hungary always stood guard over our country`s interests", - said Irakli Mezurnishvili.
He also highlighted Hungary`s role as a consistent ally: "The nation has always stood guard over the interests of Georgia during difficult political periods".
As it known, Georgian MPs will observe Hungary`s parliamentary elections within the framework of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly.
