The Trust Group positively assesses the activities of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Minister Geka Geladze and expresses its full support, stated Chairman of the Trust Group, Aleksandre Tabatadze, at the meeting where the Interior Minister delivered his report.
The Minister presented detailed information on combating drug trafficking, efforts against the so-called criminal underworld, as well as issues related to illegal border crossings and the management of illegal migration, placing particular emphasis on the implementation of special programs.
Geka Geladze also spoke about ongoing reforms within the Ministry, new police education programs, and preventive approaches to specific types of crime.
“The Ministry is successfully combating organized crime, and the Minister provided important information on the measures implemented in this regard, as well as on crime prevention mechanisms. Police education was a separate topic of discussion during the meeting. It is noteworthy that the Police Academy is developing new educational programs, where trainees will be able to gain practical work experience alongside theoretical knowledge. The Trust Group positively evaluates the classified activities carried out by the Ministry in 2025, as well as the measures implemented within special programs, and wishes the Minister and his team continued success”, - saidd Aleksandre Tabatadze.
The meeting was attended by members of the Trust Group: Archil Gorduladze, Tengiz Sharmanashvili, and Viktor Japaridze.
