"Georgia welcomes the announced ceasefire between the United States of America and the Islamic Republic of Iran and commends the effective mediation efforts that facilitated it.

We hope this step will contribute to de-escalation and encourage continued diplomatic engagement to secure lasting peace and stability in the region", - writes Irakli Kobakhidze.
