The Minister of Internal Affairs, Geka Geladze, held an introductory meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Korea to Georgia, Hyon Du Kim.

During the meeting, the parties emphasized the friendly relations and high-level cooperation existing between Georgia and the Republic of Korea in both bilateral and multilateral formats.

Geka Geladze briefed the Ambassador on the ongoing reforms within the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Particular attention was also paid to the importance of cooperation in the law enforcement field and the prospects for deepening relations in this direction.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the sides expressed hope that, through joint efforts, the existing cooperation and bilateral relations between the two countries would be further strengthened.
