Maka Botchorishvili meets with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, Yermek Kosherbayev

The Minister for Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Maka Botchorishvili, met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, Yermek Kosherbayev.

During the meeting, the parties discussed current issues in bilateral and multilateral cooperation. The conversation focused on the importance of deepening relations and facilitating the exchange of high-level visits between the two countries.

Particular attention was devoted to strengthening trade and economic ties between Georgia and Kazakhstan. The parties highlighted their cooperation in the development of the Middle Corridor.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the Ministers of Foreign Affairs signed the 2026-2027 cooperation programme between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Georgia and the Republic of Kazakhstan.

As part of the official visit, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan is scheduled to hold meetings with the President of Georgia, Mikheil Kavelashvili, and the Prime Minister, Irakli Kobakhidze.
