The Trust Group heard information on the secret activity of the Defense Ministry for 2025

The Trust Group continues reviewing information on classified activities and special programs implemented by institutions within the defense and security sector.

At the meeting, Deputy Defense Minister Grigol Giorgadze briefed the Trust Group on all classified procurements carried out by the Ministry in 2025. The discussion covered work undertaken by the ministry in both logistical support and the modernization of equipment.

“Classified procurements carried out by institutions within the defense and security sector are subject to strict oversight. Relevant information on these activities is submitted to the Trust Group, which, if necessary, issues recommendations. The modernization of military bases of the Defense Forces and their infrastructure with modern technical means is ongoing. This applies to residential barracks, dining facilities, and various other facilities located on military bases”, - stated the Head of the Trust Group, Aleksandre Tabatadze.

The meeting was attended by the Group members: Archil Gorduladze, Tengiz Sharmanashvili, and Viktor Japaridze.
