Georgian wine tastings and seminars, organized as part of a “Road Show”, will take place in the Japanese cities of Sapporo, Sendai, Tokyo from April 7 to 13.
These events offer Georgian wine producers a valuable opportunity to connect with potential importers, distributors, HoReCa sector representatives, and wine professionals, all within a single platform.
Such international platforms enable companies to showcase their products while introducing Japanese consumers to Georgia’s centuries-old winemaking heritage, distinctive grape varieties, and rich traditions - an integral part of the world’s cultural heritage.
Japan is one of the strategic export markets for Georgian wine. In 2025, exports to Japan reached up to 200,000 liters - an increase of 42% compared to 2024.
The Japanese market is distinguished by strong demand for high-quality products and a growing interest in authentic, distinctive flavors. In this context, Georgian wine - defined by its diversity of taste and traditional production methods - holds a clear competitive advantage.
