The Interim Commission on Women`s and Children`s Issues held an Event Marking World Autism Awareness Day

As part of World Autism Awareness Day, the Interim Commission on Women`s and Children`s Issues of the Parliament of Georgia organized an event at an adapted entertainment space for children with autism spectrum conditions – "Andio Land".

Within the framework of the event, representatives of the multifunctional children`s space "Tamashobana" offered a variety of activities to the children. They had the opportunity to engage in both recreational and educational activities in a safe environment tailored to their needs.

April 2 is World Autism Awareness Day, officially designated by the UN General Assembly on December 18, 2007. Its aim is to raise public awareness and strengthen support for individuals on the autism spectrum.

The event was attended by the Chair of the Commission, Mariam Lashkhi, and the Deputy Chair of the "Georgian Dream" faction, Greta Tsitsava.
