Geka Geladze held a working meeting at the Public Security and Police Academy

The Minister of Internal Affairs, Geka Geladze, together with the deputy Minister, Giorgi Sakhokia, held a working meeting with the leadership of the Public Security and Police Academy.

The meeting focused on details related to the authorization and accreditation processes of the Bachelor`s Program at the Academy and issues related to the development of study program.

Geka Geladze focused on one of the important components in the context of the Ministry`s priority areas - the institutional development of the Academy, and emphasized that he will continue to actively support the ongoing projects at the educational institution in the future.

In addition, within the framework of the meeting, the Minister received full information regarding the ongoing educational process at the Academy, the implementation of educational programs in line with international standards, and future projects.

It is notable that in accordance with legislative amendments, on March 1, 2026, the Public Security and Police Academy was granted the status of a higher education institution.
