The day of the referendum on the restoration of Georgia`s independence is the day of the historical choice of the Georgian people, reads the statement by the Chairman of the Government of Adjara.

According to him, it is the duty of every Georgian to protect the choice that has strengthened the path toward statehood.

"On March 31, 1991, the citizens of Georgia unanimously declared their unwavering will for freedom, independence, and the values that continue to define Georgia`s development path today. It is our duty to protect the choice that has strengthened our path toward statehood", - writes Sulkhan Tamazashvili.
