At the invitation of the National Bank of Georgia [NBG], a delegation of American investors is to visit the country, bringing together several prominent international investment and financial firms, including JPMorgan, Morgan Stanley Investment Management, Kirkoswald, Aberdeen, MetLife, and others.

The US investors will hold meetings with representatives from both the public and private sectors during the visit. A joint meeting is also scheduled with Natia Turnava, President of the NBG, and Lasha Khutsishvili, the Minister of Finance.

Turnava and Khutsishvili will brief the American investors on Georgia`s investment climate and macroeconomic indicators, as well as provide an overview of the stability of the country`s banking and financial sector.

"The visit of American investors to Georgia aims to deepen cooperation with international institutional investors and facilitate the exchange of information on investment opportunities. Meetings of this kind allow investors to familiarise themselves with the country`s macroeconomic environment and the current state of the financial sector. This visit underscores, once again, the confidence American investors place in Georgia and the considerable interest they hold in the country", - noted Natia Turnava.

The group of American investors will also take part in the second annual International Capital Markets Conference, which this year is being organized by TBC Capital with the support of the NBG.
