The Embassy of Denmark expresses its deepest condolences on the passing of the Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia, Ilia II.

“For decades, His Holiness served as a central figure of spiritual leadership and a symbol of national unity.

We extend our sincere sympathies to the Georgian Orthodox Church, the clergy, and the people of Georgia during this time of mourning”, - reads the statement of the Embassy.
