Racha National Park expanded by 4,759 hectares

Racha National Park expanded by 4,759 hectares, adding to its existing 50,835-hectare area established in 2023.

This expansion, part of a 2025 legislative initiative, includes creating the Ambrolauri Protected Landscape and five new natural monuments - Sakishori Cave, Shareula Cave, Usholti Cave, Muradi Cave, and Kidobana Cave. The management of these natural monuments will be carried out by the Racha National Park Administration.
