Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia Geka Geladze, held a meeting with the President of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, Pere Joan Pons Sampietro, who is visiting Georgia on an official visit with a delegation.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the measures implemented by the Ministry of Internal Affairs to maintain public order and ensure security in Georgia. The Minister introduced the delegation members to the priority areas of the Ministry’s activities and ongoing reforms.
Geka Geladze and Pere Joan Pons Sampietro also discussed issues of cooperation between the Ministry and the OSCE. The Minister emphasized that relations with OSCE institutions are important and a priority for Georgia. He also expressed readiness to deepen the existing cooperation in the future.
