There is no opposition alliance, said today Speaker of the Georgian Parliament, while speaking about the "opposition alliance".
According to Shalva Papuashvili, the United National Movement [UNM] as an ideology is a form of "patron-client relationship", serving the interests of other, foreign groups.
"No opposition alliance exists; there is only the UNM, which tried to "throw dust" in the eyes of the public by pretending it was no longer united, that it was split and consisted of different parties. Everything we said has come true. These are the same faces who created the system of torture, media terror, state racketeering in Georgia. These people are sitting right there on the stage, and for the generation that does not remember this dictatorial regime, all these "minor dictators" are now presented in one menu, under the leadership of the "big dictator", [Mikheil] Saakashvili.
The UNM is united once again, and Georgia will again give the same answer to the political force that led this country to democratic collapse, economic stagnation, and war.
Being a "Natzi" [member/supporter of the UNM] as an ideology is not based on individuals. It is a group with a collective mindset whose main starting point is serving others, serving another country, serving other forces, and doing what pleases them. There are no individuals on that stage; they are collective "Natzis".
The UNM, and their first decision was how to go to US and whom to talk to. This is their entire philosophy. It is what they were before 2012, in opposition, and now. They have one philosophy: to find a "patron" who will install them in power. This is a union with a "patron-client" philosophy and worldview. The UNM as an ideology is a form of "patron-client" relationship, serving the interests of other, foreign groups", - said Shalva Papuashvili.
