Police seized large quantities of various drugs in Tbilisi - 2 arrested

Officers of Vake-Saburtalo and Gldani-Nadzaladevi Police Main Divisions of Tbilisi Police Department under the Ministry of Internal Affairs have arrested 2 individuals on charges of facilitating the illegal purchase, storage and sale of large quantities of narcotic drugs.

As a result of a personal search, law enforcement officers seized 49 packages of "Alpha-PVP" and "dried marijuana" from the defendants, which were prepared for sale.

The investigation is underway under Articles 260 and 260-4 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which provides for up to 20 years or life imprisonment.
