I had a very productive meeting with the Prime Minister of Georgia regarding the partnership between the Asian Development Bank and Georgia. Such a statement made today the President of Asian Development Bank [ADB].

“I congratulated the Prime Minister on Georgia’s impressive macroeconomic stability and the successful completion of the Rikoti section. This is an exceptional project that bolsters regional connectivity. We also discussed the Asian Development Bank’s involvement in the Middle Corridor, the modernisation of airports, and the development of the tourism sector.

We are committed to continuing our support for Georgia’s aspiration to become a regional gateway linking Asia and Europe through the development of vital infrastructure and targeted private sector investments”, - said Masato Kanda.
