Irakli Kobakhidze, Prime Minister of Georgia held a telephone conversation with Ilham Aliyev, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

The Head of Government of Georgia expressed concern regarding the drone attack carried out in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic of Azerbaijan.

Irakli Kobakhidze expressed solidarity with Ilham Aliyev and wished a speedy recovery to the citizens injured as a result of the incident.

The parties emphasized the strategic partnership between the two countries, their close political relations and the particular importance of maintaining peace and stability in the region.
