Chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee of the Parliament, Nikoloz Samkharadze, is meeting with the Deputy National Security Advisor at the White House.

Meetings with members of Congress are also scheduled for today.

“Today we have a meeting scheduled at the White House, with the National Security Council. We are also continuing our meetings with congressmen. The main issue is Georgian-American relations. Our desire is to raise these relations back to the level of a strategic partnership, while also giving it an additional effect so that this partnership is not just on paper. We will discuss the threats of occupation, the Russia-Ukraine conflict - accordingly, there is a wide range of topics that we will consider both at the National Security Council and in Congress”, - said Nikoloz Samkharadze.
