Tbilisi City Hall continues its providing a one-time financial assistance grant of 10,000 GEL to citizens aged 100 and over, said today the Mayor of Tbilisi.

"This benefit is available to all eligible elderly individuals registered within the capital. Since the start of this year, the City Hall has already transferred these funds to 68 citizens reaching this milestone. To access the grant, a citizen or their legal representative should submit an application to the Tbilisi City Hall Health and Social Services Department, accompanied by the recipient`s ID card and a civil registry card confirming continuous registration in Tbilisi for the past year. Notably, those who have previously benefited from this program prior to 2026 are not required to re-apply; the funds will be credited directly to their existing municipal service bank cards.

Reflecting on the program`s success, the municipality provided this 10,000 GEL award to 81 elderly residents in 2025, a group that included seven men and two women who reached the remarkable age of 106", - added Kakha Kaladze.
