We pay tribute to the heroes who sacrificed themselves in 1921 during the occupation of Georgia, the Prime Minister of Georgia said this in Kojori, where he laid a wreath in memory of the fallen Junkers.

As he noted, this day serves as a reminder of the vital importance of daily struggle and effort in defending the nation`s sovereignty and independence.

"These heroes fought heroically, leaving us a true example of heroism. It is our duty to honour their memory. Today reminds us that safeguarding our sovereignty and independence requires constant effort. Our heroes set a powerful example, and we must follow it in defending our national interests, sovereignty, and independence", - said Irakli Kobakhidze.
