“We have a new member of our team, Tea Akhvlediani, new State Minister for Reconciliation and Civic Equality. I want to congratulate her on this responsible position. She has always been a member of our team. As you know, Tea worked in the Ministry of Health as a Deputy Minister. She has a lot of experience in representing our diplomatic team”, - said the Prime Minister of Georgia Giorgi Gakharia.
Akhvlediani worked as the Ambassador of Georgia to Estonia from 2014 to May 2019. On June 13, 2019, she was appointed Deputy Minister of Health.
She replaced Ketevan Tsikhelashvili, who has been Georgia’s Permanent Representative to the OSCE Mission and international organizations based in Vienna since May 22, as well as Georgia"s Ambassador to Austria.
