Director General of broadcasting company Rustavi 2 answers to Jarji Akimidze and David Dvali. According to Paata Salia, the founders of the TV company were late to file a lawsuit. Paata Salia believes that Akimidze - Dvali"s lawsuit has expired.
"It is too early to talk about the content of the lawsuit, but I can make the following comment based on the facts disclosed at the press conference. There is a difference between Kibar Khalvashi, Jarji Akimidze, and Davit Dvali"s lawsuits because there is a difference in time of occurrence. First of all, during the 10-year limitation period, he applied to the City Court with a civil lawsuit. In addition, he also appealed to the Prosecutor’s Office, back in 2007, in regards to the subject of the limitation period, and this was assessed by the Grand Chamber of the Supreme Court of Georgia. In this case, let us wait and see what decision the Court will make, but my position as a lawyer is that their lawsuit is late and they should have filed it before 2014", - said Salia.
The founders of Rustavi 2 Davit Dvali and Jarji Akimidze applied to the court to regain 60% of the share.
